WWWISIS is a program specially designed to act as a server for ISIS databases in a web client-server environment through the WWW Common Gateway Interface (CGI) of Hypertext Transport Protocol (HTTP) and starting from version 4.0 - also known as WXIS - it is driven by a XML-based script language called IsisScript.

IsisScript key feature is its capability of processing ISIS entities based on data being transferred from and to CGI process.

ISIS searching, formatting and field updating languages are also available. Search specifications can be gathered through web forms, and then passed via CGI to WWWISIS and the results formatted and delivered back to the client. Similarly, it is possible to implement database updating operations.

IsisScript output to web browser may be generated with ISIS formatting language. Taking into account the possibility to include HTML-codes in format specifications, using conditional and unconditional literals, it is possible to develop a fully graphical, client-server search interface for ISIS databases either in internet or intranet environment.

This product can be freely downloaded to be used in testing environments (localhost // 127.0.0.1).

The license of use is valid for one year, beginning from the date when the license file is sent. Within this period it will be able to download new versions without the acquisition of a new license. After this date, a new license must be purchased.
