Cisis Utilities

"CISIS Interface Utility Programs" is a set of application programs, developed with the CISIS Functions Library, which allows the manipulation of data bases without calling any of the Microisis software.

CISIS Utilities perform a variety of the same functions of the MicroISIS software and more, facilitates and significantly enlarges the possibilities of creation, manipulation and extraction of information from databases.

New functionalities

  Main Features
  •   Generate data bases from sequential ASCII files;
  •   Join two or more data bases;
  •   Search directly in the inverted file or in the data bases;
  •   Export and import records;
  •   Compress and descompress data bases;
  •   Obtain statistics of fields and present characters in a data base;
  •   Clean data bases;
  •   Rename data base fields in place;
  •   Dump files from the inverted file.
